It’s still the same Spring that you were here
on Earth with us.
Though you weren’t enjoying it.
It’s hotter now
and the azaleas are no longer blooming.
But the skies are clear
(no rain for weeks)
and the oleanders are flowering.
The only sad thing is
that our glads break when they bloom.
And that you’re not here
on Earth with us.
