My poetry ranges from silly to romantic to heartrending. Poetry usually comes to me all at once, out of nowhere, as a whole thought. I have to hurry up and write it down before it is gone.
If you asked me to name the best poem I’ve ever written, I would answer, The Package or I Feel. They reflect a time when poetry was the best outlet to express deep emotion that otherwise would have been unspoken.
When you read my work, I hope that you feel at least a fraction of the emotion or pleasure that I felt when I wrote it.
